This school was the “prototype” for two additional 48,000 SF schools for Laramie County School District #1. The building houses classrooms, a media center, music rooms, art rooms, a multi-purpose room/cafeteria, and supporting administrative space. The majority of the building is steel framed with steel bar joists and masonry bearing walls. It has a sloped roof with high windows for natural daylighting. The media center's roof is exposed decking with no interior structure required.
